We utilize CrossFit training at Genetic Freak Fitness. Crossfit is a strength and conditioning program based around functional movement patterns. They are anaerobic based workouts to increase power, strength, speed, agility, balance, flexibility, coordination, cardiovascular endurance, accuracy and stamina. All of which are needed in any sport. We believe in constantly varied functional movements executed at high intensities. Working out at greater intensities have been shown to have a positive impact on your health. CrossFit is great for the average "Joe" looking for a good workout and for elite athletes. If Running is your sport you are in luck. At Genetic Freak Fitness we teach the POSE method of running. POSE is the only scientifically proven correct way to run. If you have suffered nagging injuries from running it is most likely do to improper form and we will do the best we can to help you correct it to keep running.
